Walton-the-Naze is located on the north point of the Tendring Peninsular and can be reached within 30 minutes drive from Colchester. Follow the A120 to Harwich, then A133 and follow the signs to Walton following the B1033 and B1034.

By bus
Regular buses run from Clacton and Frinton to Walton Bus Station, which is conveniently situated right on the sea front. Bus information can be obtained from First Transforming Travel.

By train
Train services operate from London Liverpool Street — most are destined for Clacton-on-Sea and require passengers to change at Thorpe-le-Soken. There is, however, one direct service each way every day and special direct trains are sometimes timetabled during the summer. Services are operated by First Great Eastern.
